COOKLEY Girls completed a league and cup double after defeating Croughton Diamonds of Northampton 2-0 at Evesham United.
Jess Brett scored both goals in a game where Croughton rarely threatened, Cookley dominated possession and whilst were fortunate for the first goal, due to a keeper error following a free kick from 25 yards, the second was a thunderous cross goal shot into the top corner.
Jess was named player of the match while Katherine Byng and Abby Lawson put in a superb defensive display.
The girls secured a place in the national finals to be played in late June having gone unbeaten during the season, conceding only eight goals in the process.
