MEMBERS of Kidderminster and Stourport Triathlon Club were in action across the country last weekend as they chased GB qualification times for the World Triathlon Championships.

At the Southport Triathlon qualifier, Graham Thorley completed in 1.09.38, Dave Bennett came home in 1.09.41 for first in his age group, Steve Hatch finished in 1.10.19 and Karen Riley in 1.15.51.

Meanwhile, at the Dorny Lake Triathlon qualifier, Sara Northover finished in 1.12.36 for a second in age group placing, James Chapman crossed the line in 1.15.42 and Tony Muir, who was racing in the most competitive age group of 20-24, completed in 1.15.39 for a fifth-place in age ground.

This weekend saw a number of TRiKS members competing around the country chasing GB qualification for the World Triathlon Championships to be held later this year in Rotterdam. All TRIKS members now wait to see if they qualify to represent Great Britain in their age group at the world championships, which will be held in Rotterdam later this year.
