KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have confirmed changes to the club’s board of directors ahead of the start of the new season.

Dave Seddon, Adam Crowle, Mike Thomas and Matt Paddock have all been offered and have accepted invitations to join the board.

Crowle, Harriers' football development officer, has helped progress the club’s academy and youth set-up since his arrival as well as making big strides in our efforts out in the wider community.

Thomas is well known to the club having assisted on a commercial and sponsorship basis over much of the last year.

Paddock has worked at the club for more than 13 years and has a varied skillset from his work in media and communications as well as team and player administration.

As a former Harriers player and an instrumental figure in education for the local Wyre Forest Area, Seddon will need little introduction to many as he brings his immeasurable experience in this field to a role on the board.

Meanwhile, current director Kelly Perks-Bevington has increased her involvement at the club on a daily basis. As well as operating on a commercial and marketing basis, she has also taken over the control of the club’s general finances, bringing greater stability and ensuring that the business operates at an efficient level.

They are all joined on the board by chairman Colin Gordon, vice-chairman Rod Brown and director Wayne Allen.

Geoff Coles and Mike Morris will continue to be involved closely with Harriers as club presidents alongside Colin Youngjohns.

Colin Gordon said: "I’ve made clear that no professional football club, if it wants to be a successful business, can be run by a committee of people who aren’t accountable or responsible for what happens in that business.

“What we have now is a group of people who excel in their areas and who will contribute tremendously to the running of the club.

“Guys like Adam and Matt have already been doing fantastic work for us, most of which is unseen, and we’re incredibly fortunate to be able to call on the expertise and knowledge of people like Dave and Mike. Collectively we believe we have strength in every area its needed for what we want to achieve.”
