KIDDERMINSTER'S Ella Hall claimed victory at the British Showjumping National Championships.
The 12-year-old won the Stepping Stones 138cm Championships Final, which too place at NAEC Stoneleigh on Wednesday, August 9, riding her 11-year-old coloured gelding Calusa.
Out of the 17 through to the jump off, Ella set the time early on and held her lead throughout.
“I competed at the event last year and I came sixth in this class so it was great to win this year,” she said. “It went really well today, he is a great jumper, he is really careful and loves the turns but is also good on the strides. He has been really consistent throughout the whole season. I hoped for this success but I didn’t actually think it would happen.”
