STRIKER Justin Richards opened his account for Kidderminster Harriers in Saturday's 1-0 friendly win over Rushall Olympic.
Richards smashed home a late winner five minutes from time in what proved to be a good workout for manager Mark Yates' troops.
The manager fielded two completely different teams each side of half time.
Russ Penn and trialist Shane Paul, from Aston Villa, Cheltenham and Scunthorpe, both had decent chances to score.
Goalkeepers Scott Bevan and Dean Coleman both had good work outs and made some fine saves.
In the second half Matthew-Barnes Homer and Richards wasted chances, while midfielder Michael McGrath forced a good save.
But Richards made sure of victory with a shot from 18-yards out.
