FORMER County skipper Phil Neale will be the guest speaker of the Worcestershire Cricket Society at their end-of-season lunch in The View on Sunday, October 8.
Neale skippered the County through their second Golden Age when they lifted seven trophies in five years from 1987 to 1991.
He scored 17,445 and 7,253 list A runs in addition to playing professional football for Lincoln City.
Since 1999 Neale has been the England cricket team’s operations manager.
Cricket society president Mike Vockins, who worked closely with Neale when secretary of Worcestershire, will be asking the questions.
