HARRIERS boss John Eustace hailed the hard work of his players after their FA Cup win over Chester.

Mani Sonupe and Joe Ironside netted as the Reds booked their place in the first round proper at the expense of their Vanarama National League opponents.

Eustace said: "We were excellent today. I'm really proud of the boys and the way we played football.

"You can see the squad growing and getting better and better.

"At times throughout the season we have played very well but, on the whole, over 90 minutes, I'd probably agree. That was one of the better performances.

"The front three were fantastic today, their work rate the whole team's work rate was fantastic and I'm really pleased. Mani is on nine goals now so he's doing terrific and it's brilliant for big Joe to get the second because his workfare throughout the game was fantastic as well.

"That doesn't come from luck it comes from a lot of hard work and the whole team has worked their socks off today and they were magnificent.

"A couple of weeks ago we were getting the same sort of stick that the Chester boys are getting so it's really important everyone sticks together and sees we are doing the right things.

"Jimmy (O'Connor) and Pearson have come in and are really helping the young boys along."
