SAMURAI Judo Club players were among the medals at the Welsh Schools Open Judo Championships.
The Kidderminster club sent five competitors to the event who brought home five medals including two golds.
Lucas Kent had six contests, three against players 20 kilos heavier than himself, and won all six by maximum points to take the gold medal. Loic Keasey added another gold with a good performance.
Sophie Deeming-Lane led the way for the girls by winning silver after a gruelling five contests, whilst her younger sister Lily added a bronze.
Martin Allen took on tough opponents to also claim a bronze.
Samurai's Olivia Turner was also in action, she made her refereeing debut at the competition.
