KIDDERMINSTER snooker suffered with a number of games called off due to heavy snow however the Championship Cup semi-final between Wribbenhall and St Johns E went ahead.
St Johns got off to a good start, 66 from Dave Summers gave them a lead of 32. In the next frame James Allington increased the St Johns lead scoring 69. Martin Lippitt scored 89 in the next frame again for St Johns.
Despite 71 from Gary Smith for Wribbenhall in the fourth frame, St Johns won the fixture by 94 points.
Two matches were played in the Championship Plate. Franche got off to a flying start against Pockets H with Rich Costello scoring 78 and D Curtis 70 in the first two frames. In the third frame Paul Bowers scored 92, Franche won by 205 points.
The second match in the Plate saw St Johns D complete a win against Cookley.
