A TRIO of Kidderminster judo players from the same family have made history after all becoming simultaneous British champions.
The Ashen family completed the hat-trick when Jake took the gold medal at the British Schools Championships.
Dad Nick, who took up judo in 2015, holds the British Veteran's title while Jake's younger brother Harry won gold at the British Minors Championships for players aged 10 and 11.
While other families from the club have boasted three national medalists, the Ashen's are the first from the club or Worcestershire County to have three British Champions at the same time.
