How they rated: Harriers 5, Darlington 2

Hall: Steady showing from the keeper. Couldn't do much about the two Darlington goals and didn't have a lot to do against the 10 men. 6.

Vaughan: Another good showing. Got up and down the right flank well and set up Weeks' goal late on. 6.

Taylor: Got forward we'll in the first half and helped Harriers stretch the pitch against the 10 men. Replaced by Austin in the second half. 6.

O'Connor: Led by example with a hard-working display. Didn't have much to do for long spells. 6.

Horsfall: Lost his man for one of the Darlington goals but was on hand to score his side's fourth. Carried the ball out well at times. 6.

Johnson: A much-improved showing from the defender. Came through a difficult time in the opening few games to put in an assured display. Calm on the ball and won his battles. 6.5.

Weeks: Dictated play in midfield, helped move the ball well, tested the keeper from range and found the net. Also on the end of the challenge from Wheatley that saw red. 8.

Daniels: Another who put in a much better showing that in recent weeks and he found space well and linked up with team mates in the final third. 6.

Ironside: More good forward play with his back to goal. Bagged two goals in the first half to set Harriers on their way. 7.5.

Chambers: Always in the thick of it and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet. Worked a host of chances with his movement but saw his efforts sail narrowly wide or blocked. Goals are on the way. 7.

Williams: Came in for the suspended Dan Bradley and did really well. Another to find the net with a neat finish and always looked a threat. Retained the ball really well. 7.

Subs:

Austin: Replaced Taylor on the left and was quick to take the attack to Darlington. Also got back to defend well when required. 6.

Baxendale: Came on to help Harriers see out the closing stages. 6.

Richards: Always full of running from the bench and gave Harriers some fresh legs at the right time. 6.

Unused subs: Truslove, Digie.
