HIGH-FLYING members of Stourport Trampoline Club competed at the Worcestershire Schools Championships at Hagley Leisure Centre.

Pupils from Bewdley and King Charles II high schools and Astley, Martley, Franche and Sytchampton primary schools were present, with many strong results in both the elite and novice sections.

Bewdley students had a particularly good showing, with Sophie Allen winning the under-19s girls elite category to clinch the county championship, while Matthew Garbett (under-19s) and Helen Watson (under-13s) finished runners-up in their age categories.

Franche's George and Katie Collingridge improved on last year's competition. George won the elite, while his sister was third in the novice.

Taymar Pearce-Mason, from Martley Primary School, won the under-11s elite section while Lily Crook, from Astley Primary School, was runner-up.
