Kidderminster Harriers hitman James Constable been bagging goals for fun this season. After impressing on-loan from Walsall the 23-year-old joined the Aggborough club permanently in January and light up their performances with an impressive goal haul.

His goals helped guide Harriers to the FA Carlsberg Trophy Final at the new Wembley in May and he bagged a brace in the 3-2 loss to Stevenage Borough.

The disappointment of defeat did not deter Constable as he tops Harriers' scoring charts in the current Blue Square Premier and earned a call-up to England C to face Finland in the International Challenge Trophy in October.

Disabled swimmer Claire Cashmore is another deserving candidate.

The 19-year-old, whose left arm is severed below the elbow, has been totally dominant in S9 category.

Samurai Judo Club's rising star Kelly Edwards had a brilliant season and floored some of Europe's toughest competitors.
