LITTLE Lake raised £147 for charities county air ambulance and Kemp Hospice during its captain’s day on Sunday.

Over 70 members took part in the event, which was on behalf of skipper Frank Holder.

Results — men: 1 Andy Noble 39; 2 John Bunce 38 (back nine); 3 Andy Collier 38 (back nine); 4 Dave Yeomans 38; 5 Rob Sidaway 37 (back nine); 6 Sean Williams 37.

Front nine: Tony Watkiss 20. Back nine: Dave Wilson 20.

Ladies competition: 1 Jude Sandell 39; 2 Chris Yeomans 31 (back three); 3 Jan Dean 31.

Visitors’ competition: 1 Dean Mellings (Great Barr) 35; 2 Wally Beeson (Ashbourne) 34; 3 Gordon Green (Lilleshall); 33.

Nearest the pin on the seventh hole: Kevin Phillips. Nearest the pin on the 17th: Jude Sandell.

Twos: Kevin Phillips, Wally Beeson, Ian Sorrell on the seventh, Gordon Green on the 10th hole (par four), Tony Watkiss, John Bunce Mike Jones on the 15th Phil Smith, B Trapp on the 17th.
