CRICKET: Worths were crowned the Wilden Industrial Estates Sunday League winners after the final matches had to be abandoned because of rain.

There will be a league meeting at Wilden Club on, Tuesday September 9, (7.30pm start) and teams must return trophies and hand in batting and bowling averages.

Results — Audrey Burley Trophy semi-final: Cookley A 77-1, Cookley B 73-2; Alverley 55-10, Spennells 119-3; Hartlebury 145-3, Bayton 65-2; Arley 89-3, Stourport 90-1; Lye Town B 113-4, Stagg 124-5; OTS/Fire (win) v Gas; Stoke 98-1, Brintons 124-3; Sportsman 90-2, A Kings 93-2.

Sunday League: DGSA v Hartlebury — match abandoned); Wolverly Social v Moat Farm — match abandoned.
