HARRIERS defender Luke Jones may start tonight's FA Trophy second round game at Ilkeston Town because of an injury to Martin Riley.

Riley has struggled with a knee problem over the last few weeks and may well be rested as a precaution.

If that's the case then this will be another chance for Jones to show why he should regain his first team spot.

Otherwise, manager Mark Yates has a full-strength squad for tonight's game, which was put back to Tuesday because of a frozen pitch at the weekend.

Yates may well experiment with strikers Darryl Knights and Stefan Moore during tonight's game.

Ilkeston may have just lost the services of manager Dean Holdsworth to Mansfield Town but they are in confident mood after carving out a 13-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Harriers' opponents from the Unibond League Premier Division are being guided by players Rob Scott and Paul Hurst since the departure of Holdsworth.

They have been strengthened by the arrival of Rotherham United duo David Haggerty and Mark Newsham.

Ilkeston have a wealth of experience in their squad and have recalled former Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace and Cardiff defender Dean Gordon from Glapwell.

They also have former West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Chris Adamson in their squad.

Victory in round two of the Trophy would earn Harriers £6,000 and book a third round clash against the winners of Oxford and York, which is also being played tonight.
