RUGBY: Kidderminster Carolians RFC are only two promotions away from playing in the National League after the RFU restructured English club rugby.

They will be playing in the Midlands Division Two West (South), which was formerly Division Three, after an extra national division was created below the Guinness Premiership.

The current National Two and National Three North and South will be renamed National One and Two with the top four regional leagues - including Midlands One - becoming National Three competitions.

The new National Three Midlands will have a bonus points system for the first time, in line with the other National Leagues, and the division has been increased from 12 to 14 clubs.

KCs, who narrowly escaped finishing bottom last season, will be taking on familiar faces next season with the likes of Droitwich and Old Coventrians in their division.
