STOURPORT CC continued their resurgence with a six-wicket win over Birlingham in the Worcestershire League Division Three on Saturday.
Adam Selleck took 4-55 as Birlingham were dismissed for 152, while Phil Williams top scored for Stourport as they made 153-4 in reply.
The seconds were also too strong for Birlingham and Walshes Meadow.
After restricting their opponents to 155-8, Stourport hit 158-2 to secure 24 points. Richard Savery (68), Pete Harrison (45) and Dave Pittaway got amongst the runs.
The thirds who play in Division Nine, remain second after beating Pershore by eight wickets.
Kevin Hughes took five wickets for nine runs as Pershore were dismissed for 96 and Lloyd Roberts (28 not out) and Sam Hayes (37 not out) to top scored as Stourport reached 102-2.
In the Sunday Border League, Stourport got the better of Pedmore by nine wickets.
After their opponents were bowled out for 159, Craig Siwicki's 112 not out steered Stourport to 163-1.
