STOURPORT Trampoline club have savoured success at regional and national levels.

In the West Midlands regional competition, many of the students qualified for the next level.

Sophie Allan, 19, finally qualified for the national circuit. After years of hard work and commitment, Allan made it through with ease and won her category with the highest difficulty score and a 2.5 lead.

She was the third member from Stourport to gain qualification to national competitions this year, following Taymar Pearce-Mason in March and Lily Crook in January.

All three will be aiming to qualify for the British National Championships in July 2010 in Birmingham.

Rebecca and Helen Watson have also had a good year both in and out of competition, with Rebecca qualifying for Grade F and Helen retaining good scores in Grade D. Helen competed a good first routine at the regional qualifiers, but a wobble in her second routine caused her to just miss out on national qualification.

Competitors in grade E have also been performing well, with Sara Dyer medalling at all competitions this year, but just missing out on qualification score, while Emily Batson qualified from grade E to D to join Helen Watson in their aims to make national finals.

Morgan Allin, six, Lauren Bell and Rebecca Batchelor, both 10, all progressed from grade H to G after performing well this year.

All the girls competed for the first time this at the higher standard in this month and excelled.

Eleven-year-old Taymar Pearce-Mason recently made her debut at National Competitions in Birmingham after an impressive first place and qualification score earlier in the year.

She competed against some of England’s best performers in her category in which she aimed to qualify for the British National Championships 2010.

Pearce-Mason performed two solid routines, which was enough to save her from relegation, but just missing the qualification mark by two places.
