Harriers manager Steve Burr praised his strike duo after Harriers' stirring fightback at Wrexham on Tuesday night.

Nick Wright's brace ensured the Aggborough outfit recovered from 2-0 down to earn a deserved Blue Square Bet Premier point at the Racecourse Ground.

Lee Morris, back in the side after missing the previous two and a half matches with a hamstring problem, also pulled the strings for Harriers.

Burr said: "It was nice for the forwards to get amongst the goals and I was pleased that Nick [Wright] scored a couple.

"We've missed Lee [Morris]. We've not got the biggest of squads and to lose him for the last couple of games has been tough.

"He gets hold of the ball, is clever and he's made both goals.

"He's got through the game okay and hopefully he can get a run in the team."

The game get off to the worst possible start as David Brown's header and Dean Keates' sublime strike saw Harriers' trailing 2-0 just six minutes into the game.

To Harriers' credit, they then tool control of the match and Burr was quick to praise his side's character.

The Aggborough outfit could have won the game when Lee Morris' shot was saved by keeper Scott Shearer.

"Ten minutes into the game and I was ready to go home to be honest," joked Harriers' manager.

"There was a lot of character shown by the lads.

"The first goal has taken a little bit of a deflection and gone over Danny Lewis and for the second, Dean Keates has hit a cracker.

"We shifted things around because we needed to and we got the goal just before half-time to give us a chance.

"In the second half, the lads did well again and we're a bit aggreived we didn't get a penalty.

"After our bad start I was pleased with a point, although overrall we perhaps should have gone on and won it."
