RED LION’S top county player Russ Wilks and Waggon and Horses’s Paul Harding produced a very high standard of darts when the two came to the oche in the Hire It Wribbenhall Darts League on Friday night.

This close-fought leg saw both Wilks and Harding hit 140 in their first three darts. Wilks followed this up again by hitting a 140 but again the reply from his opponent was the same.

Neither player wanted to budge in this tenacious charged leg and with no mistakes, it was Wilks who made the darts count first time around, as he clocked out with an impressive 105.

Richard Adams pulled a leg back for the visitors but this was then followed-up with three home leg victories in a row to seal the match for the Lions.

League leaders Bowling Club had a comfortable win over Great Western with the highlight of the night coming from Westerns Richard Watkiss clocking a 119 out-shot.

Rising Sun A beat Wribbenhall A and Sun’s B side defeated Wribbenhall B, while the A team stayed in second spot with a game in hand.
