Elleray guest of honour at referees' celebration

FOOTBALL: Former elite English referee David Elleray will be the guest of honour at a special meal to celebrate the 75th anniversary the Hereford and Worcester Referees Association.

The dinner will see 200 guests join in the evening’s fun at Worcestershire County Cricket Club’s New Road home on Saturday, September 22.

Elleray, who after a distinguished career as a Premier League and FIFA official is now chairman of the FA Referees’ Committee and President of the Referees Association, is set to be flying in from FIFA meetings in Geneva for the evening.
