ARCHIE Roberts was in fine form for Kidderminster and Stourport AC in the first meeting of the McCain Young Athletes League on Sunday.
A small group from the club, led by team manager Chantelle Reah, went to the Hurspath track in Oxford and set many new personal bests despite cold conditions.
Roberts, who the previous week had knocked 10 seconds off his 800 metres time, again achieved a personal best of two minutes 25.8 seconds in that event.
Oliver Reah and Alex Surridge both improved in two events each with the latter’s 400m run the highlight.
In the girls events, Brooke Clarke competed in her first competition and performed very well, while Bryony Haines achieved a personal best in the 1,500m with an excellent run.
