ROWING: The veterans of Bewdley Rowing Club go to Germany this week to face the best of world's more mature rowers.

Duisburg plays host to this year's World Rowing Masters which will see rowers well into their eighties competing.

Bewdley are taking two coxed men’s eights including their masters D (average age 50+) men’s coxed eight which rowed to victory at Eton Dorney just before the Olympics.

They are also taking three men's coxless fours, a men’s coxed four and a women’s coxed four.
