Harriers went in ahead at the break thanks to Rowe's early goal.
But despite having the majority of possession in the first 45 minutes, a single goal lead was a poor return for the home side.
Harriers looked to have the measure of the visitors for much of the half but the nearest they came to adding to their advantage was when Matt burst through the middle and saw his low shot saved by the legs of keeper Hurst when a goal looked certain.
