STEVE Burr hailed his FA Cup heroes after their brilliant 4-2 second round win over Newport County.

Harriers are eagerly anticipating tomorrow afternoon's draw, which is at 4.10pm, because they are thrown into the same pot as the country's biggest clubs.

They booked their place in the next stage after a fine win over their Football League opponents thanks to two stunning braces from Michael Gash and Callum Gittings.

Victory saw the club earn £27,000 in prize money, which is further boosted by the £6,750 they will receive for extended highlights on ITV.

The manager said: "I said to the lads before the game at 5pm somebody from the level we play at will be a hero and as a team let's be heroes.

"Callum and Michael  got the goals but as a team we were fantastic."

He added: "We've had some exciting games against Newport in the past but to be 3-0 up at half-time was brilliant.

"I thought they started brightly and could have scored early on but that is the little bit of fortune you need.

"We settled down really well and some of the stuff we played as as good as we have seen.

"We worked all week to play against Newport's formation.

"Newport play the 3-4-3 formation very well but we worked all week on it and as a coach I am more delighted we used a bit of tactical nouse to beat them."

Harriers will be hoping they are drawn against one of the giants of English football, which would further boost the club's coffers.

Burr is dreaming of leading his team out at iconic grounds like Anfield or Old Trafford.

He said: "At this stage you want one of the big Premier League clubs. I would to take a team to Anfield, Arsenal or Old Trafford.

"We've got an opportunity and hopefully we'll get those rewards."
