HARRIERS will be looking to quickly bounce back from their heavy defeat at Luton when they take on Hereford United at Edgar Street this afternoon.

A victory at the home of their local rivals would mean Kidderminster have earned six points from nine over Christmas and go some way to erasing the memory of their 6-0 loss on Saturday.

They will be without Chey Dunkley, who is serving a one-match ban after being sent off against Kenilworth Road.

Mickey Demetriou could boost the defence as he returns from injury.

Manager Steve Burr said: "We have got to get on with it, get ourselves going again and get back to winning, because that is the only thing you can do.

"When you have a defeat like that you always scrutinise things and that was the same situation with the Luton game which was our biggest defeat.

"But we have to get back to winning football matches and putting a smile on people's faces.

"There can only be one reaction and that is to put things right."

This afternoon's game could be in doubt after heavy rain over night but Hereford reported the pitch was in good condition on New Year's Eve.

Groundstaff at Edgar Street will also be out in force to ensure the game will go ahead this morning.

Harriers face a Bulls side who edged out Forest Green 1-0 and will be keen to avenge their 2-1 loss at Aggborough on Boxing Day.

The Shuttle will be keeping fans up to date on the situation at Hereford.
