STEVE Burr has left his position as manager of Kidderminster Harriers with immediate effect.
A statement on the club website thanked Burr for his time at the club.
Burr joined Harriers nearly four years ago and during his successful tenure guided Kidderminster to two sixth and one second place finish.
The news comes as a shock after Harriers had held League One Peterborough to a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup third round.
The statement said: "The Board of Directors would like to state explicitly again that its sole ambition for this season is to achieve promotion back to the Football League and that they are fully committed to taking whatever step necessary to reach that goal."
