That is it! Harriers battled hard, did not let their heads drop when falling behind and had two good chances to score.

They have been superb all game and ensured the Harriers fans went home with their heads held high. Well done lads!

Free-kick to Harriers in the 94th but the home keeper takes ball well.

Great block from Vaughan, putting his body on the line to deny Borini.

Four minutes added time.

Close! Gash wins a header from a long ball and Ladapo just first the ball across the face of goal. It looked like it might creep in at far post.

Harriers attack Sunderland on break and win a throw in on rght.

The ball is played out to Danny Jackman, who slams a first time effort wide.

We have six minutes of the 90 left and Harriers are trailing by a single goal. If they are to have a push for a leveller they need to do it soon.

Final change for Harriers a Jack Dyer is replaced by Santiago Aloi.

Good challenge by Gowling to dispossess Altidore as he dove towards the box.

Free-kick to Harriers. Gash wins the ball but the whistle blows for a foul on Diakite. The replay shows there was no infringement.

Final change for Mackems as Lee Cattermole goes off to be replaced by Jack Colback.

So, we get a chance to see Ladaop in action. It's a big chance for the former Colchester man to impress.

Two changes for Kiddy in the 68th minute. Freddie Ladapo is on for AMS and Callum Gittings replaces Johnson.

Sunderland's senior men are coming on. Fabio Borini and Craig Gardner replace Giaccherini and Ba respectively.

Kyle Storer is booked for a high challenge on Ondrej Celutska.

Sunderland press foward and Ba pounces on some defensive hesistation but curls an effort over the bar.

Sunderland have really lost their way. If Harriers can step it up they might yet score.

Danny Lewis does well to get both hands behind a powerful shot from Vergini.

Harriers break with some intent but the move breaks down when Storer was fouled by Roberge.

Sunderland have dropped down a level here, they are not as sharp as in the first half. That will only encourage Harriers.

55 - Harriers string together seven or eight passes and Jack Dyer tries his luck from distance but fires wide.

AMS needs some treatmen after being taken out by Ba, who is booked.

We're off!

That is half-time. Harriers go in trailing by just one goal but they have done well keep the home side at bay.

41 A nice passing phase goes to waste as Johnson gives the ball away with a wayward pass.

Corner to Sunderland. Giaccherini takes it but ball is headed away.

Valentin Roberge sees a long range effort deflect off a Harriers player and is watched by Lewis dip over the bar.

Johnson feels he s fouled by Diakite on edge of box but no free-kick is given.

30- A decent attack for Harriers, who win the ball and keep the pressure on Sunderland. Danny Jackman makes a good run down the left and races onto Johnson's pass but his cross is easily taken by Ustari.

Phew! Giaccherini slams a shot from the edge of the area just wide. Harriers' defence has sat back almost on their line and given the Italian too much space.

Break for Harriers. Gash switches the ball to the left to Marv Johnson but the winger can't beat his man.

Lee Vaughan had made a good supporting run on the right.

Danny Lewis dives down to get hold of a decent low strike by Lee Cattermole. The Sunderland skipper was allowed to run 20 yards unimpeded.

Good work by Danny Jackman, who just beats Giaccherini to an incisive pass in the box.

17 A shot for Harriers. This time Jack Byrne gets the ball off Gash but shoots well wide.

Sunderland naturally are bossing the game and have seen some speculative efforts fly wide.

Harriers were gifted a leveller then but they couldn't take it. Can they get back into game?

So close! Gash pounces on a stray Vergini's stray pass and is free in the box but Ustari gets down well to deny him.

Oh dear! Gowling fails to clear the ball and gives it to Mavrias, who clinically slots home.

Goal! Harriers trailing!

Harriers under pressure immediately. Conceding two corners in a row.

The ball falls to El Hadji-Ba just outside the box but Josh Gowling blocks his on target effort.

1- Lee Vaughan clears a ball from the right off the line. Good work by Ondrej Celustska on the wing.

We're off!

Gus Poyet was true to his word and handed debuts to Argentinians pair Oscar Ustari (keeper) and Santiago Vergini (defender).

The referee for today's match is Roger East.

Both sets of players walk out onto the pitch. There are also several young mascots enjoying a kick about with the Kiddy boys, what a treat for them!

Sunderland have 14 wins against non-league opposition at home, scoring 63 goals.

Harriers have a very tough task against their Premier League opponents. The Black Cats have never lost to a non-league side on Wearside.

But Andy Thorn's side will be full of confidence after knocking out Newport and Peterborough.

While undoubtedly a second string Black Cats side, they can still pick Italian International Emmanuele Giaccherini, who has played 21 times for the Azzuri.

Harriers have brought about 4,000 supporters to Wearside, which is a huge effort. There is some talk about the attendance for today's match being around the 21,000 mark but we will give you the official figure when we get it.

Not sure why Lee Fowler misses out but we're speculating it's because of injury. But Jack Dyer has played against top flight opposition this season, starting against Fulham for the Brewers in the League Cup.

Sunderland have put out a side full of squad members, but have the big guns on the bench.

Sunderland: Ustari, Celitska, Robege, Diakite, Ba, Giaccherini, Vergini, Roberge, Cattermole, Mavrias.

Subs: Pickford, Yeung, Gardner, Colback, O'Shea, Borini, Watmore.

Harriers: Lewis, L Vaughan, Demetriou, Storer, Byrne, Gash, Johnson, Jackman, Morgan-Smith, Dyer Gowling.

Subs: Dunkley, Malbon, Angus, Gittings, N Vaughan, Aloi, Gittings.

Harriers make one change as Lee Fowler misses out completely and Jack Dyer is handed his first start in midfield. It is a big call by the manager to put the on-loan Burton man in.

Sunderland male ten changes from the side which defeated Manchester United in the League Cup, with only Lee Cattermole starting.

Arrived at the Stadium of Light and just trying to find my way around. It is wet and very windy outside. Could that level the playing field for Harriers? We shall wait and see.

Good morning Harriers fans. Are you on your way to the game or did you stay overnight? Send me your good luck messages for the boys.
