A GROUP of Kidderminster Harriers fans have revealed a naked ambition to raise money for a good cause.
Caring supporters Mike Peplow, Richard Millington, Dave Ackerley, John Wagstaffe and Karl Davies were prepared to strip off to highlight a charity walk in memory of former KHIST chairman Steve Millington.
Fifty-two Kidderminster fans, including former Reds legend Mick Tuohy and members of Millington’s family, will tackle the 65 mile trek from Aggborough to Forest Green Rovers on April 7 and 8.
So far, organisers have raised an incredible £15,000 and have set their sights on bringing in over £20,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Organiser Karl Davies said: “The response we’ve had is absolutely fantastic.
“People want to get involved and raise money for a great cause.
“It just goes to show that Harriers fans are not a bad bunch at all.
“I must stress we’re not doing the walk naked, I don’t think we’d get very far from Aggborough!”
