MANAGER Gary Whild felt Harriers had earned a handy point at Forest Green Rovers last night.

Nick Wright’s 39th minute effort had cancelled out Paul Green’s first half strike as both teams played their part in an entertaining 1-1 draw.

However, this was Harriers’ fourth draw in five matches, a run of games which are not enhancing their hopes of making the play-offs.

Kidderminster are 11th in the Skrill Premier, although they are six points off the top five with six matches left.

Harriers had been under the cosh in a one-sided first half, where the hosts created and wasted a host of chances.

But he visitors rallied after the break.

“I thought after the first half what was a big positive was the reaction after half-time,” said Kidderminster’s boss.

“We came out and went on the front foot and scored a good goal. We forced the game and put Forest Green under pressure.

“It is another draw but I think it’s important we came back from a goal down.”

There was controversey at the death as referee Brett Huxtable at first allowed Josh O’Keefe’s blatant handball goal to stand before changing his mind after a furious repsonse by Rovers’s players.

Whild added: “It was the right decision by the referee. How he got to that decision I don’t know.

“Let’s be thankful he was right because it was handball.”
