HARRIERS will be trying to make it a second consecutive away win when they tackle Wrexham away tonight.

Gary Whild’s side will be full of confidence after recording an excellent 3-2 at Woking on Saturday.

It ended a run of two consecutive away losses for the Aggborough outfit and put them right back in the play-off mix in the Vanarama Conference.

Over the years, Harriers and Wrexham have been involved in some tight games.

The Racecourse Ground was the site of Whild’s first game as outright Harriers manager last season and they battled out a hard fought 0-0 draw.

Two seasons ago, the Dragons thwarted Kidderminster’s promotion dreams in the semi-finals of the play-offs.

With his number two Mark Creighton also returning to another club where he was much-loved before he was forced to retire because of injury, it’s set to be a clash with plenty of mutual respect.

"We have had some great games against them, obviously the play-offs a couple of years ago.

"It is going to be another tough game,” said Whild.

"But if you look at results at the weekend, any side can beat any other. The win at Woking keeps us in the mix."

Whild is hoping to be able to recall the versatile Jamie Grimes, who missed the Woking clash with a badly bruised foot.

Wrexham are currently sixth in the table after defeating Easleigh 3-0 but they have aleady lost at home to Woking and Gateshead this campaign.
