GARY Whild has demanded more from Harriers' goal-scoring hero Nathan Blissett after yesterday's stirring fight back at Vanarama Conference leaders Barnet.

The Aggborough had been trailing 3-0 after the Bees had taken full advantage of a lacklustre first half display with Lee Cook, John Akinde and Luisma Villa on target.

But substitute Michael Gash had pulled one back in the 58th minute, before Blissett bagged two towering headers in the 79th and 82nd minutes.

Both of his goals came from excellent deliveries from left-back Kevin Nicholson.

Blissett has now scored three goals this season but Whild feels there is more to come.

He said:  "With Bliss (Nathan Blissett) we know what he is capable of and for the size of him he should be scoring goals and be a danger from set pieces.

"He is full of running and is a handful. If he can add goals to his game then he has got a very bright future."

Harriers' manager also took decisive action at half-time with two changes.

With Josh Gowling struggling with a shoulder problem, Jamie Grimes was drafted into central defence.

Gash added some presence up front and Ahmed Obeng, who replaced  Marvin Johnson in the 60th minute, injected some much-needed pace.

"I told the players to have a bit of belief in themselves and go outand win the second half," said the manager.

"It showed what we are capable of doing. I know what we are capable of but we didn't see that in the first half.

"We didn't turn up and Barnet showed why they are top of the league by taking advantage."
