KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Independent Supporters Trust (KHIST) are set to officially relaunch their successful 2020 Lottery.

The fund-raising initiative was set up in 2011 in the aftermath of Harriers’ financial worries and has raised £94,000 for the club.

With the Aggborough outfit undergoing financial challenges as the scheme approaches its fourth anniversary, KHIST has revealed it has teamed up with new sponsor Stuart Walstrom from Wombourne Service.

His generosity means the winner of the January draw will receive £1,000.

A spokesman from KHIST said: “We believe that, with leadership from the trust, our loyal fanbase can do much more to enhance the Harriers prospects and, of course, the lottery remains our ‘flagship’ means of raising funds for the benefit of our club.”

The trust have signed up several supporters as agents roles as part of the relaunch.

These are people who regularly attend Harriers’ matches and who have agreed to sell a minimum of 40 lottery tickets every month.

They are to receive an accumulated allowance of 15 per cent of their overall sales to be used for the purchase of their next season ticket.
