CHAIRMAN Ken Rae has confirmed that staff at Kidderminster Harriers will receive their wages in full next week.

Employees down at the Aggborough outfit received only a third of their pay on Monday as Harriers’ cashflow problems continue.

Rae has said the club will pay the rest of the money owed next Tuesday after Monday’s Bank Holiday clash against Bristol Rovers.

Kidderminster have already sold 2,200 of their away 2,600 allocation for the clash and are hoping for a crowd of up to 5,000.

"The players have only been paid a third of their wages but we will make sure they get the rest next Tuesday after the Bristol Rovers game,” said Rae.

"We continue to have a cashflow problem which will only be resolved in the summer when we can give the manager a realistic budget which we can afford."

This is not the first time the club have failed to pay staff on time. Last month, manager Gary Whild and his players refused to talk to the press in protest until the issue was sorted.

Rae revealed at last month’s AGM that benefactors Kath and Ernie Lane were still committed to paying the shortfall until the end of the season.

But this latest development throws their involvement, although Rae confirmed they were still on board.
