Bedworth 0, Harriers XI 2
ACADEMY starlet Dan Sweeney and trialist George Cator bagged second half goals as a youthful Harriers side recorded a comfortable win at The Oval.
Manager Gary Whild fielded a very young squad packed with products of the club’s youth team system and hopefuls.
In goal was former Northampton keeper Dean Snedeker as well as former Shortwood Town and Farnborough forward Dean Culley.
Reece Hales and Sweeney came close in the first half but two goals in as many minutes after the break sealed the win.
Cator set-up Sweeney, who then repaid his team-mate by teeing up the second.
HARRIERS: Snedeker, Jones, Williams, Maxwell, Westwood, Green, Forsyth, Hales, Sweeney, Spencer, Culley.
