HARRIERS manager Gary Whild lamented his side's poor finishing in yesterday's 1-0 loss at Guiseley.
Kiddy had been team with the momentum but paid the price for squandering several excellent opportunities when Adam Boyes pounced for the hosts in the 88th minute.
He said: "Football can be cruel at times.
"The old adage is goals change games and being in a situation where we should have been comfortable and in the lead, a goal knocks the stuffing out of the lads.
"Apart from scoring, I don't think the lads could have done anymore.
"There were lots of good performances, the effort and endeavour was good but the quality of some of the play on an excellent surface was great.
"It was just a lack of killer instinct, Guiseley's goal came out of nothing and if you don't take your chances that is what can happen."
Kidderminster will be looking to improve their goal-scoring when they take on Wrexham at home on Tuesday night (7.45pm ko).
