FANS are broadly supportive of the coaching shake-up that Kidderminster Harriers hope will change their fortunes on the pitch.

The Aggborough outfit has revealed in an attempt to improve results, Gary Whild has been moved from the manager’s role to head of football operations.

The new positon means Whild will still have a say on the first team but will work Tim Flowers, who has been promoted to head coach.

The one casualty in this reshuffle is former player and coach Mark Creighton, who has left the club by mutual consent.

Kidderminster are bottom of the Vanarama National League and have yet to win in eight games and face a huge set of matches against Halifax away tomorrow and at Torquay on Tuesday night.

On social media, supporters have been generally pleased with the club’s attempts to do something in trying times.

Laura #92 ‏@LauraJHarper 7m7 minutes ago @PeteMc78 change was needed. We need to get behind Tim and the lads. I'm confident (well, hopeful) it will be the boost we need.

@PeteMc78 I assume we can't afford pay offs. Hfully board are thinking about best man for the job from 16-17 already ..

Martyn Jones ‏@m4rtjones 22m22 minutes ago @PeteMc78 we need to change things and lets go with it Luke Spaull ‏@LukeSpaull 28m28 minutes ago @PeteMc78 definitely, changes had to be made. Think Flowers is a much better person for the role.

Luke Spaull ‏@LukeSpaull 27m27 minutes ago @PeteMc78 however, happy Whild remains, as he does have an eye for a good player.

tuart Gillespie ‏@stugillespie 32m32 minutes ago @PeteMc78 something needed to change but Whild's relationship with Brown means this is the only way forward. Baptism of fire for Flowers.

Liam Shannon ‏@LiamKHFC 33m33 minutes ago @PeteMc78 Can't be much worse can it?

Andrew Foxall ‏@DrewFoxall 26s26 seconds ago @PeteMc78 I'm hopeful, but there is a "rearranging deckchairs on the titanic"-feel to this.

A.D✌ ‏@AdamRyanDawson 1h1 hour ago Gutted for @creights5 The man who brought me to the harriers and sorted me with everything I needed. I wouldn't blame him at all. Great Man!
