COLIN Gordon believes Harriers can get out of the difficult situation they finds themselves in.

Kidderminster head into their next Vanarama National League clash at in-form Macclesfield still waiting for their first win of the season and bottom of the table.

The club are just five points from 20th placed Boreham but with the rest of the league starting to push away, the need for a vital win to kick-start their season only increases.

Kidderminster will have to assess injuries to Tahvon Campbell and Zaine Francis-Angol, who scored his first goal for the club against Boreham on Tuesday.

Jordan Tunnicliffe returns from a one-match suspension while Gurjit Singh's fitness will be checked.

Harriers tackle a Silkmen side who are 14th placed after taking seven points from the last three games.

Macclesfield will be hoping top scorer Kristian Dennis will have shaken off a thigh injury for the game.

The game kicks off at12.30pm as part of Non-League Day and will be televised on BT Sport.

Director of football development Gordon believes an improvement up front would help results improve.

He said: "I feel like we can get out of the situation we are in because the signs are there and we're doing things well.

"But we've still got that inexperience, the average age of the team is ridiculously low.

"The final piece of the jigsaw is the final third and everyone can see that.

"We were excellent for 45 minutes in first half against Barrow and Boreham but couldn't get the all-important second goal.

"You can see the nerves kick in and it's not just the young lads, it's the senior players as well."

He added: "It was unfortunate that Tahvon Campbell got injured because he worked his socks off.

"Zaine got a knock and because he's not played a lot of football he was running on empty as well.

"That's when you pick up worse injuries and you have to think about prevention, which we have done."
