KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have suffered a setback as defender Jordan Tunnicliffe looks set to be sidelined for a number of weeks.

The towering young centre-half picked up a hamstring injury during last week's U21s friendly defeat at Fleetwood Town.

Although the exact length of his absence is yet to be determined - Harriers are due to receive results from a scan shortly - it's thought Tunnicliffe will be missing for a considerable number of weeks.

"It looks to be more of a serious one and that's a real shame," commented coach Kevin Phillips.

"You don't like to see any player injured for the short term, let alone longer.

"We'll know more when we get the scan results back but our thoughts are with him for a speedy recovery."
