KELVIN Langmead says Kidderminster Harriers have not given up on pulling off the great escape in the Vanarama National League.

With 19 games of the season left, the Reds' situation looks dire as they are bottom of the table and 15 points adrift from safety.

Kiddy go to Aldershot hoping to record their first double of the season.

Harriers won 2-0 in November with James McQuilkin and Ben Whitfield on target and they will need another win to provide any hope of escaping the drop.

Harriers' last away victory came on January 20, 2015, when Jack Byrne bagged the game's only goal.

But Langmead remains hopeful that there is time for a Reds revival.

Kidderminster suffered a seventh straight loss when they were sunk 1-0 by Guiseley on Saturday.

He said: "We're in a tough situation but there's still time for us to turn it around.

"The lads were all down after what happened against Guiseley.

"It could have been a different story if Elton Ngwatala's fantastic shot had went in but it hit the post and we got caught out at a set piece again.

"It was another example when we've lost a game we deserved to get something out of but we must focus again and get a result at Aldershot."

Adam Dawson is recovering well after hernia surgery but isn't ready for tomorrow, while Jordan Tunnicliffe is back in training after his lengthy injury lay-off.

With Matthew Barnes-Homer returning to Aldershot after his disappointing loan spell ended, Harriers will be set to make a change as he look to bring in a striker.

They face an Aldershot side which have rallied after a seven-game losing streak in all competitions by picking up ten points from the last 18.
