ATTACKER Tyrell Waite has said Harriers must avoid getting anxious about playing at Aggborough as they look to bounce back from their defeat to Brackley against Chorley on Saturday.
The Reds suffered a losing start to their home campaign in the National North when they slipped to a surprise 2-1 loss.
It was a contrasting display from last weekend’s 6-1 thrashing of Curzon Ashton on the opening day of the season.
Waite, who scored Harriers’ consolation effort, conceded there were lessons to be learned by the young side, who were stifled by the well-organised outfit from Northamptonshire.
In the first half, Kiddy seemed too anxious to score and focused on long range efforts. As a result they lost the fluency demonstrated at Curzon.
“We didn’t play our football and we need to relax, once we do that we’ll play our game," said Waite.
"We’ve got Chorley at home so it’s a chance to bounce back and give the fans what they want.”
Harriers take on a Chorley side who opened their campaign with a 3-3 draw against FC United of Manchester.
It took a Scott Leather leveller late on to seal a point for the Lancaster side.
Wayne Thomas is on the road to recovery from his groin injury but may not be ready in time for tomorrow.
