LIAM TRUSLOVE netted his sixth goal of the season to set Harriers on their way to a solid 2-0 win at Harrogate Town Boss John Eustace named an unchanged sixteen from the clash against FC United a few days previous; the squad given the chance to make amends as Liam Truslove continued to deputise for Elton Ngwatala, the bench also staying as-was.

While he did more than enough later in the day to feel too downbeat, Sam Hornby will have been wanting a solid start to make even for the concession of the first goal against United - it took him barely a couple of minutes to show his prowess on the night as he extended himself to keep out an early Marcus Day shot.

Liam Truslove then bent a shot wide as Harriers started to ease themselves into the contest, Robertson then similarly striking off target back up at the other end with 20 on the clock.

Truslove is arguably one of Harriers' most influential players in terms of action in front of goal - he helped give Harriers the lead after going very close to doing so - a free-kick of his thumping off the bar before his shot from a corner, with half an hour gone, being turned home by a Harrogate man.

The hosts were then reduced to ten men as Croasdale was left writhing in pain after being challenged aggressively by Gascoigne - the Town man given his marching orders.

Harriers remained in control and, after the break, they went closest to a second goal; chiefly through Gnahoua who was at his menacing best, firing one shot just over before forcing Crook into another good save before the hour with a shot from 18 yards.

Eustace's men were then forced to do their share of defending, particularly noteworthy was a block from Croasdale that denied a certain shot on target, the visitors thanking the gods with a little over ten minutes to go as Day's shot, heading towards an empty net after Hornby had come to clear, bounced off the post.

Harriers made their fans wait before putting the game to bed - when they did it looked so easy for Andre Brown - he pounced on the counter with Crook pushed up field in attack as the hosts looked to rescue the game, the ball falling to the youngster who finished beautifully from distance to get his team back to winning ways.
