HARRIERS will look to push themselves back towards the top end of the National League North table with victory over Gainsborough Trinity this Saturday.

Kidderminster suffered their fourth loss of the campaign with a 2-0 defeat at Halifax Town last weekend after defender Tyrone Williams saw red for two bookable offences.

That game followed the club’s exit from the FA Cup at the hands of League Two side Blackpool.

Manager John Eustace says he now wants a positive performance from his players as they look to get back to winning ways in front of their own fans.

He said: “I was reasonably pleased with the performance and I think it was the sending off that changed things.

“There was nothing in the game up until that point and we’d grown into it after defending well early on.

“Tyrone has dived into a challenge when already on a booking and he has just got to learn from that.

“There wasn’t a lot we could do about the last goal as we were pushing for an equaliser late on but we could have done a little better for the first.

“They have reacted quicker and our concentration levels could have been better.

“I was pleased that we managed to limit them to very few chances.

“The big thing now is that I want to see a really positive performance from us. You can’t win every game but we can look to react to the defeat.”

Harriers will be without the suspended Williams for the Gainsborough clash (3pm kick-off) but have a fully fit squad to choose from besides that absence.

Meanwhile, the Reds have been handed a home draw in the third qualifying round of the FA Trophy.

They will host Northern League First Division side Lincoln United after the Whites progressed at the expense of Rushden and Diamonds on Tuesday night.

Harriers and United have only ever locked horns twice - an FA Trophy Second Round double in 1998 seeing the Reds knocked out in a replay after drawing at Aggborough.

This latest meeting will take place at Aggborough on Saturday, November 26.

Robert Stambolziev has left Kidderminster Harriers after having the remainder of his contract cancelled. He leaves by mutual consent in search of a new challenge.
