MANAGER John Eustace said he was proud of the way Harriers overcame a determined Darlington side at Aggborough.
Keith Lowe's second half header helped Kidderminster to a 2-1 battling success after Tyrell Waite had cancelled out Dave Syers' early opener.
Harriers were made to fight for the points as their visitors worked hard throughout to disrupt their usual flowing football.
Eustace said: "We know what they are all about and I'm delighted with three points. Another day maybe it could have been a draw but we were different class.
"I'm really proud of the lads.
"Every game is difficult. Darlington are very good at the way they play and every game is very tough. We have a young squad and I couldn't be prouder with the way they stood up to the fight and nicking the goal at the end was great."
Reflecting on the season so far, he added: "It's been okay. There have been ups and downs, which I said there would be at the start. I think we're progressing well as a group and we are looking forward to the second half of the season."
