HARRIERS will look to quickly return to winning ways when they go to Curzon Ashton this Saturday.

Reds suffered their first defeat in 15 games when they were sent crashing out of the FA Trophy at the hands of Stockport County on Tuesday night.

They lost the replay 3-0 at Edgeley Park after the teams had previously drawn 2-2 last Saturday.

Both games saw Kidderminster squander a host of good openings, which is something boss John Eustace wants putting right heading back to league duties at Curzon.

He was quick to take positives from his side's build-up play at County but highlighted weak finishing and poor defending as the key reason for their Trophy departure.

He said: “I was really proud of the lads’ efforts tonight. Some of the football we played was fantastic and I was just really disappointed with our quality in the final third because we created a number of chances and didn’t take them.

“The defending for all three goals was poor as well, so there’s loads of positive stuff to take out of the game but lots of stuff to work on as well.

“We played well but defended poorly, and we’re disappointed – but it’s a chance to put it right on Saturday now.”

One positive from the clash saw Declan Weeks make a return from injury. Elton Ngwatala and James McQuilkin missed the County game with illness and injury respectively.

Harriers will definitely be without defender Fraser Horsfall this weekend after his red card against Stockport on Saturday.

Meanwhile, defender Tyrone Williams has now left Harriers to join National League side Solihull Moors.

Williams, a product of the Harriers Academy, first signed professional terms with the club in 2013 and has since gone on to make over 70 appearances in the first team.

Capable at full-back or in the centre, he has also featured on loan for the likes of Hednesford and Stourbridge during his time with the club.

In order to facilitate the transfer, Harriers have agreed to the Moors’ request that a fee paid by them for Tyrone’s services will remain undisclosed.

Kidderminster's next home game sees them welcome mid-table FC United of Manchester to Aggborough next Tuesday night (7.45pm kick-off).
