FORMER Kidderminster Harriers midfielder James McQuilkin has joined Telford United.

McQuilkin left Aggborough at the end of the season and has now chosen to move to the Bucks despite being offered a new deal with the Reds.

The move ends McQuilkin's three-year spell at Harriers where he played more than 100 games for the club and was voted Kidderminster Harrier Supporters' Player of the Season for 2016/17 season.

On the move, McQuilkin said: "I am absolutely delighted to have joined AFC Telford United, I have played at this fantastic stadium on many occasions as an opposition player and I am looking forward to playing in a home shirt in front of the fans.”
