Kidderminster take a break from their promotion push in Blue Square Premier this weekend as they set off down the road to Wembley in the first of what they hope will be many FA Cup ties.
Conference North outfit Kings Lynn are Harriers’ first opponents and their elevated league status means Mark Yates’s side are worthy favourites, at 5/6 with Coral, to book their place in the next round at the first attempt.
The Linnets, quoted at 11/4 by bet365 to eliminate Kidderminster immediately and at 11/5 (Betdirect) to force a replay at Aggborough, have lost their last two on their own patch and so Harriers could win with a bit to spare. Betfred’s 7/1 for Yates’s troops to notch twice without reply therefore catches the eye, as does Sportingbet’s 12/5 for them to be in front at both the 45 and 90-minute marks, though the cautious may prefer Partybets’ 1/4 for Harriers to simply avoid defeat at the Walks Stadium.
Those looking a little further ahead meanwhile, can obtain alluring odds of 18/1 with Blue Square for Kidderminster to be the furthest progressing Blue Square Premier team in the competition.
