9:45am Monday 1st March 2010 in Harriers
POPULAR defender Marcus Bignot believes Harriers can make a bid for the play-offs after their 3-0 win over Histon.
Harriers' are unbeaten in 2010 after a convincing victory at Aggborough, which has taken them within touching distance of the top five in the Blue Square Premier.
Bignot was back for his second spell at the club after becoming a popular figure during the 1996-07 season, before making a move to Crewe.
He was given a rousing round of applause by the Harriers fans when he came on as a second half substitute.
He said: "I've got an infinity with this club. I had a wonderful season here in the 96-97 season and it's a club that's close to my heart.
"I've had fond memories and long may I have many more here.
"I think in terms of the league it's important we put on a run together.
"We are on a run and that's only put us in touching distance of the play-offs so we've go to go again and go another six or seven games unbeaten.
"We've got to be realistic because it's a tall order but that's the objective."
