10:02am Wednesday 7th December 2011 in Harriers
Harriers boss Steve Burr was pleased to see the goals flying in as his side put Blue Square Bet Premier strugglers Bath City to the sword at Aggborough on Tuesday night.
A brace for Jamille Matt and one each for Steve Guinan and Jack Byrne made sure Harriers picked up their biggest win of the season.
The home side had recovered well from Scott Murrary's early deflected strike which had put the Romans ahead.
Victory ensured Harriers are unbeaten in five games, picking up 11 from a possible 15 points, and are now just a point out side the play-off spots.
"It's hard to sum up the game because I thought we didn't play as well as had done in the last couple of games, but a win is a win and it was nice to see a few goals going in," commented Burr.
"I thought we started off in the first few minutes quite brightly but then they had a bit of luck with the goal and that knocked us about a bit.
"For 10 or 15 minutes we were standing around like penguins but thankfully we managed to get in front by half-time and changed things around.
"Our passing was not as good as it could have been."
Matt's brace, which handed Harriers a crucial 3-1 lead, also made it seven goals for the campaign and made him joint top scorer with Nick Wright.
"I thought Jack Byrne took his goal well and it was nice that Jamma [Matt] as a centre forward got a couple of goals as well, that was a real pleasing point," added the manager.
